Educational Goals
Foster the future professionals in media and communication that can lead the field of fusion media as well as equip the students with both theoretical knowledge and practical communication skills.
Develop new courses that are related to SNS, smart media, n-Screen, and transmedia in addition to the conventional media-related courses, which include broadcasting, advertising, and PR.
Career Path after Graduation
The graduates from the Department of Media and Communication have obtained jobs with digital media platforms, such as Internet portals, SNS, and OTT. They are also able to work in conventional media fields as newspaper publicists, at broadcasting stations, in advertising, and PR. Accordingly, the positions for the graduates range from reporters and program directors to content coordinators, MCN operators, algorithm planners, and power bloggers.
