Introduction
The Department of Energy and Mineral Resources Engineering aims to produce field-oriented experts by organizing an integrated curriculum based on the exploration, development, and the utilization of energy and mineral resources, environmental purification, as well as the prevention of geological hazards such as earthquakes and landslides. We also provide various educational and research programs, nurturing exceptional talent with superior intellectual capability. In addition, we have steadily been increasing the number of English-taught courses to meet international educational demand.

Our graduates work in various government agencies, state-owned companies and research institutions related to energy resources development, such as Korea Petroleum Corporation, Korea Gas Corporation, Korea Resources Corporation, Mine Reclamation Corp. (MIRECO), Korea Energy Agency and Korea Institute of Geoscience and Mineral Resources. They can also pursue careers in big private sector companies such as SK Corporation, GS Caltex, and Daewoo International.
