Introduction
Buildings contain not only safety features and functions but also comprehensive structures that include the will of architects. They can also be sites of cultural heritage. Architecture is a subject that teaches theories, methods, as well as engineering techniques to plan and design these buildings. Architecture is a field where creativity, artistry and technical rationality should be exercised, it is also a field that comprehensively studies and teaches the social and technical aspects of buildings, centering on architectural planning and design. The Department of Architecture has been offering a five-year degree program in accordance with the international criteria of education since 2002. In 2011, The department was accredited by the Architectural Accreditation Board in 2011. The program provides an opportunity for students to earn an architecture license upon obtaining a bachelor’s degree and specified years of training.
