The Student Council is an organization that fosters leadership and self-governance by collecting the diverse interests and demands of students through student self-governing activities, and by having students themselves resolve various issues within the campus.
About Student Council
It is a student self-governing body that represents the entire student population.
The Student Council operates through a Central Executive Committee composed of representatives from college-level student council, clubunion of sejong university and reservist association, along with student councils from each academic department.
To promote a vibrant and enjoyable campus life for students, the Student Council carries out a variety of programs, including the General Student Assembly, the Spring Festival, rural volunteer activities, the Student Summer Training Program, and the Fall Festival during examination periods.
The Spring Fesitval
This festival, held in May, is a joyful celebration that brings together all members of the Sejong University community, fostering a vibrant campus life filled with youth and romance while strengthening a sense of belonging and unity. Centered around the Student Council, various student organizations host a wide range of fun and engaging programs, allowing participants to enjoy performances, exhibitions, games, events, and diverse food offerings.
The Fall Festival
This festival is a celebration of strength and beauty, where students filled with passion come together for a joint athletic meet and various cultural events set against the backdrop of an autumn campus painted in shades of red. As a festival that marks the culmination of the year’s efforts, it offers students an opportunity to once again experience the joy of campus life.
