Alien Registration Card issuance delay As you may be aware, the immigration office has only been receiving group alien registration card applications to control and minimize the number of individual applications.
Accordingly, for applicants who applied during the 1st round of applications (8th Mar ~ 13th Mar 2021), the immigration office visited our campus and has completed the fingerprint registration.
However, after inquiring the immigration office yesterday (28th Apr 2021), we have been informed that the ARC issuance will be delayed as group applications submitted by all universities in Seoul will be processed collectively.
At the moment, for students who have already applied for their ARC during the 1st round of applications, all necessary procedures have been completed. Thus, we kindly ask that you wait for the immigration office to contact you once they have issued your registration card.
※Students who applied for their ARC during the 2nd round of application (12th Apr ~ 17th Apr 2021), the immigrations office will contact you with all the necessary information regarding your fingerprint registration process via the contact address you submitted on the application form. 외국인 등록증 발급 지연관련 안내드립니다. 코로나 사태로 인하여, 출입국관리사무소에서 외국인 등록증의 개별적 신청을 받지 않고, 단체 접수만 가능하게 되었습니다. 그에 따라, 외국인등록증 1차 신청 (2021년 3월 8일 ~ 3월 13일) 의 경우, 4월 15일 출입국관리사무소에서 지문등록을 위해 학교로 방문 후, 지문등록을 진행하였습니다. 다만, 4월 28일 출입국관리사무소에 문의해본 결과, 본교뿐만아닌 타교들 모두 단체접수 이후 일괄 업무처리가 진행되므로, 전반적으로 모든 대학의 외국인등록증 신규 발급이 조금씩 지연된다는 답변을 받았습니다. 현재 외국인 등록증 1차는 등록증 신청, 지문등록까지 진행이 되었으며, 등록증이 발급완료 되는대로 본인이 신청 당시 작성했던 연락처 또는 이메일로 수령안내 할 예정입니다. 따라서, 수령 안내 문자메시지 또는 이메일을 받으신 후, 안내에 따라주시길 바랍니다. ※외국인 등록증 2차 신청 (2021년 4월 12일 ~ 4월 17일)의 경우, 추후 지문등록관련하여 안내사항이 신청 당시, 작성하였던 메일 또는 전화번호로 날짜, 장소 등 안내가 될 예정입니다. |
