□ Important Academic Dates
1. Distance Learning(courses taught online) will be extended through the entire semester in Spring 2020. - As an exception, undergraduate lab, practice and performing classes with 10 or less students can be taught offline after May 3rd. - Courses with more than 10 students should be divided into smaller classes to be taught face-to-face. 2. Face-to-face Learning - Courses with more than 10 students should be divided into smaller classes to be taught face-to-face. - performing classes such as those under the department of music, physical education and dance can only use pre-designated classrooms in Daeyang Hall, Yongdeokgwan and Gwanggaetogwan B1. - those who live outside of Seoul or Korea and thus cannot attend offline classes will be provided with online learning materials(through various methods including Youtube, cafe, blogs, etc.) - those who do not wish to study face-to-face will be allowed to withdraw or modify courses by May 1(Fri), details will be announced later. 3. Evaluation of Academic Achievement - All courses will be evaluated by Absolute Grading System. - Courses with more than 10 students cannot have face-to-face final exam. 4. Attendance - Any issues regarding attendance after May 4th should be addressed to the person in charge at the Center of Teaching and Learning, within one week of the attendance recognition period. 5. Notes - Additional Course Withdrawal Period will be given to all students(further notice will be given) - The above announcement is subject to change if the government guidelines on social distancing demand an extended period of distancing. Precautionary Measures for Safe Face-to-Face Classes - All students should wear face masks and use hand sanitizer before entering the class - Keep distance from other students in the classroom - Classes will return to distance learning model if any COVID-19 case is confirmed ※ Above announcement is subject to change depending on the COVID-19 situation.
