PARTICIPATION OF SEJONG UNIVERSITY IN
THE ERASMUS+ PROGRAMME
THANKS TO THE COLLABORATION WITH THE UNIVERSITY OF THE BASQUE COUNTRY (SPAIN)
In the framework of the 2015 Erasmus+ ICM project, UPV/EHU hosted two students from SU (Sejong University) for the spring semester 2016.
Both universities were satisfied with the execution of the 2015 Erasmus+ ICM project, and SU wished to keep collaborating with UPV/EHU in Erasmus+ mobility projects.
In February 2017, UPV/EHU made its new proposal to the 2017 Erasmus+ programme's call named 'Key Action 1 (KA107) - International Credit Mobility' by the support of SU, and In June 2017, UPV/EHU was informed about the results of that call.
With the 2017 project, UPV/EHU can provide one SU student coming to UPV/EHU for fall semester 2018 with Erasmus+ grant. The amount of the benefit will be 3200 euro (stays longer than 120 days) + 1100 euro for travel aid.
In the framework of the bilateral agreement and the Erasmus+ agreement, SU will nominate students coming to UPV/EHU next academic year before the 2nd of May 2018. Once the students have been accepted by the corresponding faculty or school of UPV/EHU, SU and UPV/EHU will proceed with the selection of the Erasmus+ grantee. This student must be the one with best GPA among the students nominated to UPV/EHU for fall semester 2018. Also, the grantee should take at least 30 ECTS for a semester stay (Spanish and/or Basque languages courses could be in the learning agreement).
The Erasmus+ agreement signed in 2015 remains being valid until the academic year 2020-2021 for the execution of the 2017 Erasmus+ ICM project.
