<프로그램 종류>
교환학생: 본교 등록금 100% 납부, 상대교 등록금 전액 면제
지역전문가: 본교 등록금 50% 납부(국제교류장학금 50% 감면), 상대교 등록금 전액 면제
방문학생: 본교 등록금 30% 납부(국제교류장학금 70% 감면), 상대교 등록금 100% 납부
복수학위: 본교 등록금 30% 납부(국제교류장학금 70% 감면), 상대교 등록금 100% 납부, 상대교에 3학년으로 편입하여 세종대와
상대교 모두 학위 취득
※ 개설전공에 "어학연수과정"이라고 표시된 학교는 어학조건이 명시되어 있지 않은 경우 어학성적 없이도
"어학연수 과정"으로 교환학생 또는 방문학생 지원이 가능함.
※ 모집가능 인원 및 기타 지원자격 조건 등은 상대교의 요청에 의해 추후 변동 가능함.
※ 파견학생 최종 선발권은 상대교에 있음.
<Program Types>
Exchange Student: Pay full tuition to home university; tuition to partner
university is fully waived
Regional Expert: Pay 50% of tuition to home university (50% waived as
scholarship); tuition to partner university is fully waived
Visiting Student: Pay 30% of tuition to home university (70% waived as part
of the international exchange scholarship); pay full tuition to partner
university
Dual Degree: Pay 30% of tuition to home university (70% waived as
scholarship); pay full tuition to partner university; students to transfer to
third year of the partner school's undergraduate program to earn a degree
from both universities
※ For schools that offer a "Language Course," you may participate
in the program as an Exchange or Visiting Student majoring in language
training.
※ Number of Students and/or Language Requirements, etc. are subject to
change.
※ Parter universites have a right to accept the successful candidate as an
exchange student for international outbound exchange program.

<지원자격>
가. 한 학기 이상 수료한 본교 재학생 및 휴학생
※ 편입생의 경우 본교에서 1학기 이상 이수한 자
※ 휴학생 지원 가능. 단, 파견학기에는 등록해야 함
※ 마지막 학기(졸업직전 학기)는 반드시 세종대에서 수학을 해야
함
나. 학칙에 의해 징계 받은 사실이 없는 자
다. 해외여행에 결격사유(비자발급조건 등)가 없으며, 면접시까지 여권발급이 가능한 자
라. 일본파견 학생의 경우, 파견 전 교내 일본어교육에 참여하여 일정 수준 달성이 가능한 자
마. 지원할 시점에는 어학성적 사본이나 성적조회화면 스크린캡처 제출도 가능 (면접시까지 원본 제출)
<Eligibilities>
A. A Sejong University student who
has completed at least one semester
※ For transfer students – you must
have completed at least one semester at Sejong University.
※ You can still apply even if you
are on a leave of absence at the point of application. However, you must be
an enrolled student for the participating semester.
※ You must complete the last
semester (immediate before graduation) at Sejong University.
B. No record of being disciplined
under the university rules.
C. No disqualifying reason for
international travel (conditions for visa application); must be able to
obtain a passport by the time of the interview.
D. If you are applying to a school
in Japan, you need to be able to participate in the Japanese language classes
offered at Sejong University and also reach a certain level of Japanese
language ability before you leave.
E. A photocopy of your language test
score report, or a printout of the screenshot showing your test score is
acceptable at the time of application, but you need to submit the original
report by the time of the interview. |

regular course, language course, etc.). The university and program type are
unchageable after the due date for online application.
※ When you apply online, be sure to upload your study plan, letter of
oath, agreement of use of personal information form and official language
test score, which you

<2017학년도 가을학기 주요사항>
하나. 해외에서 공부는 하고 싶은데, 아직 스펙이 없어서 걱정이라면 어학조건이 필요없는 어학연수 과정을 추천합니다. 교양으로 학점도
인정받을 수 있고, 어학실력도 쌓을 수 있습니다.
둘. 미국지역, 유럽지역 및 아시아지역을 통합하여 1회만 선발합니다.
셋. 어학점수가 없다면 3월 7일(화)에 시행되는 기관토플(TOEFL ITP)을 신청하여 필요한 점수를 확보하기 바랍니다.
넷. 2018학년도 봄학기 모집부터는 해외파견학생 지원자격 조건에 '평점평균(GPA) 2.5 이상' 기준이 추가될
예정입니다.
<Important Notes for Fall 2017>
ONE. There are language programs for any students who are not ready to take
regular courses in English/ local laguage.
TWO. Students are allowed to apply for international outbound exchange
program only one time regardless of region.
THREE. If you do not have any English language test scores, It is highly
recommended that you sit for the TOEFL ITP scheduled at Tuesday, March 7,
2017.
FOUR. 'GPA of 2.5 or higher' condition will be added to the eligibility
criteria for application to the international outbound exchange student
program from the recruitment for spring 2018 on. |

language ability before you leave (excluding those who are highly skilled in
Japanese). Additional points will be given for anyone who have previously
participated in the training. |

<학점인정>
가. 최소 6학점 이수, 최대 18학점 이수
나. 해외 교류 학점은 모두 P/NP로 인정됨(복수학위의 프로그램일 경우 예외)
다. 수학 후 수업계획서 등 증빙자료를 바탕으로 학과장 승인 하에 최대 18학점까지 전공학점(전공필수 및 전공선택 모두 가능)으로
인정될 수 있음. 전공학점 이외는 교양학점으로 인정됨.
<Credit Recognition>
A. A minimum 6 credits & a maximum 18 credits
B. All overseas exchange credits will be recognized as P/N (except for the
dual-degree program).
C. The head of the student’s department will review the course syllabus,
etc. and give approval for credits for major courses (either required or
elective) up to 18 credits. Others will be recognized as credits for liberal
art courses.

<국제교류장학금
제도>
방문학생의 경우, 학비를 세종대와 해외 대학 양쪽에 납부해야 함. 학생들의 학비 부담을 덜어주기 위해 세종대의 학비를 70% 감면해 주는 제도
※ 성적장학금과 중복수혜 가능. 단, 총 수혜금액은 등록금을 초과할 수 없음. 초과학기자는 수혜 불가

Visiting students are required to pay tuition fees to both universities. In
order to make it more affordable, Sejong University applies a 70% waiver to the amount due to
Sejong.
※ You may receive this in addition to your merit-based scholarship.
However, the total amount received may not exceed the amount of the tuition
fee. You are not eligible if you are in your 9th or later semester.

| Q. 휴학생도 지원 가능한가요? |
| A. 가능합니다. 단, 휴학생은 파견 학기에 반드시 복학(등록)처리를 해야 합니다. |
| Q. 4학년 학생도 지원할 수 있나요? |
| A. 가능합니다. 4학년 2학기를 해외에서 수학하는 학생은 마지막 학기(초과학기, 9학기)를 세종대에서
수학한 후 졸업해야 합니다. |
| 초과학기자'인 상태로 해외에 파견이 되는 학생은 복귀한 후 마지막 학기(졸업직전 학기)를 세종대에서 수학한
후 졸업해야 합니다. |
| 초과학기자'는 국제교류장학금
혜택을 받을 수 없으며, 해외에서 이수할 학점 수와 상관없이 등록금 전액을 납부해야 합니다. |
| 단, 졸업학점을 이미 충족하여 '수료' 상태인 학생은 해외파견이 불가능합니다. |
| Q. 개설전공에 해당하는 전공자만 지원할 수 있나요? |
| A. 전공학생이 아니더라도, 교양으로 들을 수 있습니다. |
| (예: 컴퓨터공학과 학생이 개설전공이 경영학인 학교에 가서 교양으로 경영학 과목을 들을 수 있음) |

| A. 아니오. 전공자와 비전공자 구분없이 동일하게 평가합니다. |
| Q. 전공학점 인정은 어떻게 받나요? |
| A. 해외대학에서 성적표를 받아온 후, 세종대에서 해당과목 syllabus 등을 통해 학생이 소속된
학과의 학과장이 판단 후 최대 18학점까지 승인합니다. |
| Q. 영어가능자, 중국어가능자 등은 선발기준이 어떻게 되나요? |
| A. 공인어학점수는 필요없으며, 면접시 해당 외국어로 수업 수강이 가능한 수준이 되는지를 평가합니다. |
| Q. 지원시 학점제한은 없나요? |
| A. 평점평균에 상관없이 모두 지원이 가능하나, 평가시(학점+면접)에는 반영됩니다. |
| Q. 어학시험은 쳤는데 아직 점수가 안 나온 경우에는 지원이 불가한가요? |
| A. 원서접수 마감일까지 점수조회(스크린캡처)가 가능해야 합니다. 점수 자체가 없을 경우 지원
불가합니다. |
| Q. 어학점수 유효기간이 필요한가요? |
| A. 2년 내의 유효한 성적이어야 합니다. |
| Q. 교환학생을 다녀왔는데, 한 번 더 갈 수 있나요? |
| A. 첫 파견 학생들을 우선적으로 선발하며, 기존에 다녀온 학생은 후순위로 선발됩니다. |
| Q. 지난 번 경쟁률을 알 수 있나요? |
| A. 매학기 경쟁률이 천차만별이고, 파견 가능한 학교가 달라지기 때문에 정확한 경쟁률 자료는
없으며 모두 비공개입니다. |

| Q. How good do you have
to be considered to be a candidate “with English language skills"? |
| A. Candidates will be
evaluated during the screening interview to determine whether they are ready
to take courses in the respective languages. |
| Q. Can a student on a
leave of absence apply? |
| A. Yes, as long as the
student re-enrolls before the semester begins. |
| Q. Can a senior student
apply, too? |
A. Yes. If you spend the
second semester of your senior year studying abroad, you need to come back to
complete your last semester (the excess semester – your 9th) at Sejong
University before graduation. If you will be participating in the program
under ‘excess semester student’ status, you have to come back to Sejong
University to
complete your last semester before graduation here. An
‘excess semester student’ is not eligible for the
scholarship benefits and therefore must pay the
full tuition regardless of the number of credits to earn at the host
university. However, you cannot apply if you have met the credit requirements for
graduation and your status is “Completed”. |
| Q. Can a non-major
student apply? |
| A. You can always apply
and take the non-major courses to earn credits in liberal arts. |
| Q. In this case, do
major students have an advantage over non-major students? |
| A. No, major and
non-major students will be subjected to the same screening criteria. |
| Q. How do I get my major
credits recognized? |
| A. The head of the
student’s department will review the course syllabus, etc. and then give
approval for major credit recognition up to 18 credits. |
| Q. Are there a minimum
GPA required? |
| A. Anyone can apply
regardless of their GPA, but the grades will be considered during the
screening process along with the interview score. |
| Q. I’ve been on an
exchange program once. Can I apply again? |
| A. Yes. However,
first-time applicants will be considered first. |
| Q. Are the past
acceptance rates available? |
| A. As the rates differ
drastically from semester to semester and the universities that offer spaces
for exchange students also change every semester, no reliable records of
acceptance rates are publically available. |
| Q. Are there any
scholarships available for outbound students? |
| A. Yes, there is an
International Exchange Scholarship Program for visiting students, under which
the students pay only 50% of the
tuition due to Sejong. |
