Introduction

The Department of AI Convergence Electronic Engineering at Sejong University is dedicated to educating next-generation engineers who can design, analyze, and innovate intelligent electronic systems in the era of artificial intelligence. The department was established to respond to the growing demand for interdisciplinary expertise that bridges traditional electronic engineering with modern AI-driven technologies.


Our curriculum is built on a strong foundation in core electronic engineering disciplines, including circuits, semiconductor devices, signal processing, embedded systems, and communication technologies. On this foundation, the department integrates advanced coursework in artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, and intelligent system design, enabling students to understand both the physical hardware layer and the algorithmic intelligence that drives modern systems.


Students are trained to approach engineering problems from a systems-level perspective, combining theoretical knowledge with hands-on experimentation and project-based learning.
