The Department of Chemistry provides a program where students can acquire extensive knowledge about various subjects, which include physical chemistry, organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, analytical chemistry, and biological chemistry, and they can develop research skills that are directly applicable to many advanced applied chemistry fields, such as the environment, nano-polymer chemistry, new medicine, material science, and biomolecules. Graduates from this department will be able to demonstrate their core competencies in the cutting-edge chemistry fields or bio-related institutions, which include companies, research institutes, government agencies, and schools.
