Part-time Job Permit Foreign students staying on a D2 visa are, in principle, prohibited from for-profit or employment activities, but they can work if they have obtained a part-time employment permit. If you engage in job hunting activities without permission, your study abroad status may be revoked and you may be subject to immediate departure. International students are required to pay attention to all activities that receive monetary compensation. Case 1. If you participate in field training programs or internships provided by your university - A part-time job permit is required. Case 2. In the case of receiving research funds from institutions outside the university (other universities and industry-university cooperation foundations, etc.) - A part-time job permit is required. Case 3. On platforms such as YouTube, if you are recruited by a specific company and continue to appear in multiple videos - A part-time job permit is required. Please refer to the table attached below for the allowable hours of part-time employment, and be careful not to be disadvantaged by engaging in job hunting activities without permission. Thank you. |
