School of Global Leadership
Cultivating global talents with political, economic, social, cultural, and language skills.

Introduction
The School of Global Leadership is a representative unit of internationalized education, composed of international students from diverse countries around the world. The School has three departments: Department of Korean Language and Culture (Korean Track), Department of International Trade and Commerce (Korean Track), and Department of International Affairs (English Track).
Students in the Korean track mainly come from countries such as China, Vietnam, and Russia, while the English track brings together students from Uzbekistan, Russia, Mongolia, and other regions, creating a truly multicultural learning environment.
The school values cultural diversity and linguistic differences, fostering an educational atmosphere based on communication and collaboration among students. Through this environment, students develop not only academic expertise in areas such as politics, economics, society, and culture, but also intercultural communication skills and a global perspective. Each department emphasizes both theoretical foundations and practical competencies, enabling students to acquire skills that are highly relevant in today’s global society.
During their first year, students explore a variety of introductory courses across departments. Upon entering the second year, they are free to choose their department according to their academic interests and career goals, allowing for flexible and personalized academic planning.
To lead innovation and change, the curriculum is designed to maximize three core competencies: convergence capabilities integrating culture and domain knowledge, multilingual communication ability, and glocalization competence—the integration of globalization and localization. These competencies empower international students to participate proactively on the global stage and provide a strong foundation for successful careers in diverse fields after graduation.
The faculty members possess extensive overseas study and teaching experience and demonstrate a deep understanding of international students. Through close communication and guidance, they provide not only academic support but also practical assistance in students’ daily lives in Korea. This supportive educational environment plays a vital role in helping international students grow steadily while overcoming linguistic and cultural barriers.
